WWE Fastlane Predictions by Andrew Bracco

With Fastlane being the last pay per view stop on the “Road to Wrestlemania”, it is very important that this event set the stage. With a decent card on the table, all WWE fans will be tuning in on the WWE Network(for just a small fee of $9.99) to see the outcome. Here are my predictions:

Intercontinental Championship

Kevin Owens(c) vs Dolph Ziggler

With Owens just winning the title in the fatal 5 way match on Raw, I don’t really see this slipping away from him. In what should be a highly athletic match, Owens will remain champion at the expense of Ziggler.

Winner: Kevin Owens

Divas Championship Match

Charlotte(c) vs Brie Bella

With her sister on the shelf due to injury, Brie has been seeing some of the limelight and doing fairly well. However, she has never run into a pure beast like Charlotte before. Especially with her legend dad in her corner, chalk the victory up for Charlotte. No doubt she will “do it with flair”.

Winner: Charlotte

Tag Team Divas Match

Becky Lynch & Sasha Banks vs Naomi & Tamina

With not much behind this match, it seems to just be a showcase for the “Divas Revolution”. Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will reign supreme.

Winners: Becky Lynch & Sasha Banks

United States Championship Match(2 out of 3 falls)

Kalisto(c) vs Alberto Del Rio

In a back and forth rivalry that has seemed to be ongoing, it seems as if the belt can’t stay on either man for an extended period of time. Based on the fact that I don’t really know what the WWE has in mind with this, I’m just going to say Del Rio wins the belt back, much to my disapproval.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio

Six Man Tag Team Match

Ryback, Big Show & Kane vs The Wyatt Family

Not a bad idea to throw this one together last minute even though Big Show and Kane are seemingly just growing more ancient by the minutes. Not sure about Rybacks new look either. Really too similar to Goldberg. So if the question he wants to ask is “Who’s Next?”, he better believe it’s him and his 2 pals from the 90s. Chalk this one up to Bray and his squad as he builds towards a Mania showdown with the man that will take him to Suplex City, bitch.

Winners: The Wyatt Family

Singles Match

AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho III

Okay so basically they want to showcase AJ’s talent here. What better way to show it than with a third showdown with Y2J. Hopefully Styles continues getting this momentum that he deserves. It will be a highly athletic contest and won’t disappoint. But the duke will go to “The Phenomenal One”.

Winner: AJ Styles

#1 Contender Triple Threat Match (WWE Championship)

Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose vs Brock Lesnar

Much to the disappointment of many, it seems as though Roman would’ve been the clear cut winner for this match. They seemed to have built up a pretty good story behind this to see who goes on to face the champion, Triple H at Wrestlemania 32. Although Brock is a beast and I would love to see him win, I can’t help but think that the Wyatts will interfere. Thus costing him his chance at main eventing the “Showcase of the Immortals” once again. If it has to come down to Dean and Roman, I can’t see this gigantic push not going Dean Ambrose. The entire fanbase is behind the Ambrose Asylum. As am I. So here’s to “The Lunatic Fringe” challenging “The Game” for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Winner: Dean Ambrosewwe-160221-660x380
