Hate Is Not Born, It’s Taught
“When you live in a society where the firefighters are the heroes, little kids want to be firefighters. When you live in a society where athletes and movie stars are the heroes, little kids want to be athletes and movie stars. In Palestinian society, the heroes are those who murder Jews.”- Donald Trump.
15 years after the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001, American Society is starting to come to terms with the fact that not everyone is like us. Not everyone just wants to live and let live. There are millions of people in the world who want nothing more than to murder us
Trump is the only person on T.V. and/or politics who will call Islamic terrorist exactly what it is. Trump is dropping the PC narrative and that is the cornerstone to his popularity.
I have been seeing it for months now. There is a shift to the far right. After 8 years of Obama and the culture moving more and move left, we have hit a boiling point. The tumblr sjw movement was the off spring of this boiling point.
Now our culture is moving from the “triggered” safe space left and Trump is the one leading the pack.
Trump is just the start. Here are some more examples of the hard right shift in tone in our culture from the internet after the Brussel attacks:
- It’s time to acknowledge that even “moderate” Islam is a terrible thing. “Moderate” Islam murders “apostates”. “Moderate” Islam murders homosexuals, murders dissenters. “Moderate” Islam actively diminishes women. It’s time to say enough.
- Name a Muslim country that the Western world considers an ally and you can find countless examples of state sponsored murder of dissidents, apostates, homosexuals, adulterers, honor killings of raped women, child “marriage”, etc. It is time to flat out say that Islam and Western values cannot and will not ever be able to co-exist. When a belief system, and not just any belief system, but one that says you must obey these laws in order to get into an everlasting afterlife says these things that are so against Western values, why would we ever expect them to accept Western values?
- Belgian here, I’ve been pretty leftist my entire life. Communist sympathies as a teenager and a socialist supporter as soon as I sobered up.Enough is enough. I’m all for integration and tolerance but something is rotten to the core when it comes to muslim culture within Europe. Djihadis, fundamentalists, whatever you want to call them are either too plentiful or have too much influence. Whether that was our fault due to not giving them the tools to integrate or theirs for refusing to take advantage of those tools is beside the point. I am done defending this culture. I am done playing devil’s advocate when I go out for drinks with my friends. Ever since WWII ended Europe has tried its damnedest to avoid conflict. We banded together under these principles in both the European Union and the United Nations. Perhaps it’s time we showed the world again that when we stand as one force, we will not bend. It’s time to show that dogs without bark can still bite.
The shift to the far right may or may not be a good thing but it definitely happening.
What Caused the Brussel’s Attack?
Trump gave a warning about the Brussels attack, in an interview with Fox Business Network’s Maria Barroom. The tag line the media used from this was ‘like living in a hellhole’- Trump (about Brussels in January 2016)
Like always, the left mocked him for even thinking of saying something like that. How dare you have opinion that is different from the narrative
After the attack, this was trumps reaction.
“The New York Times wrote an article because the New York Times doesn’t have a clue,” Trump said. “That’s why they won’t be in business too much longer. I call them ‘the failing New York Times.’ They wrote a mocking article, and so many people have called me about the New York Times article being so wrong. Brussels is a disaster. Brussels is a tinderbox. Brussels is a place I went to years ago—it was one of the most beautiful cities in the world and totally safe. Now, it’s catastrophic what’s happened to it. Many, many people are saying I was right about so many things. So many things.”
“By not allowing the people in,” he said. “That’s how you prevent it, not allowing the people in. There has to be a moratorium. We have to find out what’s going on. Every city you look at, you take a look at Paris, you take a look at—the police don’t even go into the areas, the police are afraid of the areas. Look at the case of this fugitive. He was the number one fugitive in the world, and he was living right next to where he lived. All of those people knew that he was there and nobody turned him in.”
Will not letting people in solve this problem?
The shifting tone:
How many more?
That’s all I could think this morning as news broke of yet another ISIS terror attack, this time in Brussels.
How many more innocent men, women and children are going to be blown to pieces by these murderous bastards?
How many more airports, train stations, sports stadiums, restaurants or concert halls will be obliterated in a hail of suicide bombs and bullets?
How many more world leaders will wring their hands on national television afterwards and spout pointless platitudes about the ‘poor brave victims’ and ‘heroic emergency services’?
How many taunting, gleeful claims of responsibility will the despicable perpetrators of these evil crimes be able to issue?
I’m sick of this, aren’t you?
Sick of feeling sick about such endless, senseless barbarism.
And the worst thing about it is that I see no end. – PIERS MORGAN
In Sweden, just this week, 60 Minutes Australia news crews released footage of its trip to Stockholm’s Rinkeby district where young men used a car to run over one of the cameramen’s feet. Police didn’t want to accompany the news crew into the neighborhood, either, as a local political activist walked the television crew through how the migrants from East Africa have a particularly difficult time assimilating into Western culture.
What should we do to prevent this from happening in America?
