It is once again time for the MLB season. Opening day is this week but lets make believe it is November. This is how the 2016 MLB season will play out.
NL East Winner
New York Mets – will be lead by the best pitching staff in MLB history.
NL Central Winner
Chicago Cubs – have their same young core of players and added veterans in the offseason.
NL West Winner
San Francisco Giants – have a very solid pitching staff and lineup.
NL Wild Card Winners
- St. Louis Cardinals – have made the playoffs every season under Mike Matheny
- Pitsburgh Pirates – had the second most wins in MLB last season with 98, will be lead by Andrew McCutchen
(Pirates will win the Wild Card game)
NLCS – New York Mets vs San Francisco Giants
AL East Winner
Toronto Blue Jays – will be lead by the best offense in baseball.
AL Central Winner
Kansas City Royals – have the same core that they have had the past two seasons.
AL West Winner
Houston Astros – won the Wild Card last year with a young team and added to their bulpen and rotation this offseason.
AL Wild Card Winners
- Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim – missed the playoffs by 1 game last year, will be lead by Mike Trout.
- Cleveland Indians – have had a winning record every season under Terry Francona, look for them to continue to improve their record and make the playoffs.
